Chord Overstreet remembers Cory Monteith, asks Sandra Bullock out on 'Ellen'

"It's been difficult so far," Overstreet says. "We all kind of grouped together and have really gotten a lot closer because we've all be going through the same thing. I mean, his role on the show -- he was the heart of the show and he was a big part of it to everybody and to me as well. He was one of my best friends so it really challenges me to kind of take over his role and be how great he was to everybody."

Overstreet and DeGeneres also talk about more upbeat things, like his abs, his underwear, and his dating status. FYI: "I am single and you know, I'm always looking for Mrs Wonderful, so if y'all know anybody," he tells the audience.

The heartthrob also uses his TV time to put in a good word with his celebrity crush, Sandra Bullock -- "I saw her from a distance at one of those red carpet things and I was a little bit too scared to talk to her, she was that beautiful. ... She is older than me but I still have a lot to learn and I can be taught a few things I'm sure," he jokes -- and even asks her out.
