Chris Noth photographed on 'Girls' set

Rumors are brewing after Lena Dunham and executive producer Jenni Konner tweeted a photo with Chris Noth yesterday, writing "Spoiler alert?" and "Menage a Noth."

Dunham has a history of leaking "Girls" news and Season 2 details on her Twitter and Instagram feeds. This spring, she revealed Donald Glover's casting and character Jessa's engagement on social media.

If Noth is indeed on board for Season 2, he'll be joining Glover as well as Patrick Wilson as the show's fresh male faces. His possible involvement has "Girls" fans excited -- specifically, those who draw parallels between Dunham's series and "Sex and the City":

"@campsucks Genius. Added bonus: this may help my husband figure out "which one is the Carrie?" says @christinawrites.

"Hannah is Mr. Big's granddaughter? Leads to some giant land war between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Girls Season 2: The Reckoning," tweets @tomhanaway.

And just to take the SATC-factor of this potential casting up a notch, Stanford Blatch ( Willie Garson) seems to be green with envy: "@lenadunham @campsucks Me mad at Lena, with love in my heart."
