'Chuck,' 'Letterman's' Bieber fever, 'Grey's Anatomy,' more: Zap2it's must-watch TV this week

This week on Zap2it's must-watch list, we have a pretty heavy Monday night. "Chuck" brings us season-finale-like awesomeness, the "Pretty Little Liars" is playing the obsession card and "Gossip Girl" has us all excited again.

Later in the week, we have some big events from a second dose of Bieber fever on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and the biggest night of TV all year, the Super Bowl!

Here's Zap2it's must-watch list this week:

Monday, Jan. 31:

'Chuck' (NBC), 8 p.m. ET

Prepare for epicness in what was initially designed to be "Chuck's" Season 4 finale (before NBC ordered 11 more episodes). Sarah ( Yvonne Strahovski) tries to get Chuck's mom ( Linda Hamilton) out of Volkoff's ( Timothy Dalton) once and for all, while Chuck ( Zachary Levi) and Morgan ( Joshua Gomez) embark on their own anti-Volkoff mission. Oh, and there may be a baby Awesome on the way as well.

'Pretty Little Liars' (ABC Family), 8 p.m. ET

What started as a digestible summer mystery has become one of the more tonally exciting series on television. In the second half of its freshman season, "PLL" has mastered the foreboding of '90s teen horror films, while its four primary cast members have come to really own their characters. We'd watch just for Spencer's ( Troian Bellisario) weekly showing of frustration for simpleminded Hannah ( Ashley Benson) -- who recovered from that car accident suspiciously fast.

"Gossip Girl" (The CW), 9 p.m. ET

Dan and Blair work together at W Magazine! Serena and Ben hang out outside of jail! Chuck hooks up with his rival's daughter! Rufus joins "The Real Househusbands of the Upper East Side" (not really)! Nate looks pretty! Eric actually gets a storyline! Forgive us for our overuse of exclamation points, but we haven't been this excited for a "Gossip Girl" episode in a very long time. While we know some fans don't love (understatement of the season) the Dan and Blair direction the show seems to be taking, we think it's breathing new life into the show and Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester have fantastic on-screen chemistry. So yes, we dare to "Dair"... or something.

Justin Bieber on "Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS), Monday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 4, 11:35 p.m. ET

We already know far more about Justin Bieber than we do about our own 17-year-old nephew so it's not like we think Dave is going to crack the enigma that is The Bieb. No, what we want to see is the Dave side of the interaction. Bieber appeared on the "Late Show' last year as a performer, but now he'll show his range by handling a Letterman interview AND presenting a Top 10 list. Admittedly though, we kind of hope Dave won't let Justin sit down but rather make him field his questions from next to the exit. Like he did when CBS forced him to have the "Survivor" contestants on his show each week.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

"The Good Wife" (CBS), 10 p.m. ET

This courtroom drama puts up strong episodes week in and week out, but in the first February sweeps episode, Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Jane Alexander is guest-starring as Judge Suzanne Morris, who is described as having a soft spot for defendants. We loved Alexander in "Kramer vs Kramer" and "All The President's Men," so we're excited to see her on one of our favorite shows.

Thursday, Feb. 3

"Grey's Anatomy" (ABC), 9 p.m. ET

There are a couple reasons why I can not wait to see this week's "Grey's Anatomy." Hello, it's the first new episode since Callie ( Sara Ramirez) dropped the bomb on Arizona ( Jessica Capshaw) that she's pregnant with Mark's ( Eric Dane) baby! And second, it's Kevin McKidd's (who plays Owen) first outing as a director. So much pressure! Plus, Derek ( Patrick Dempsey) finally makes a breakthrough in his Alzheimer's clinical trials, but Meredith ( Ellen Pompeo) feels left out. Buck up, Grey!

"Jersey Shore" (MTV), 10 p.m. ET
To be honest, we look forward to "Jersey Shore" every week. It's very upsetting when we aren't up to speed on the crew's shenanigans, as much as we may be ashamed to admit it. But this week, we are looking forward to more than just drunken escapades and the latest "Jersey-ism" that we will ultimately work into our own vocabulary. We've been busy hating on Sammi ever since she chose Ron over her girls, and have been faithful to "Team Jenni" ever since. Following last week's debacle in which Sammi threatened to leave the house, we are excited to see her (most likely pathetic) attempt to reconcile with J-Woww. Can Sam pretend to like Jenni for an entire episode?! Will her and Ron break up... again?! We are actually pulling for Sam to leave The Shore for good, if only so we don't have to continue watching her pick at her eyelashes every 5 seconds (it is so much easier to just WASH YOUR FACE before bed, girl!)

Friday, Feb. 4:

"Supernatural" (The CW), 9 p.m. ET
Hey, so, remember last week, how I said I was most looking forward to watching the mid-season premiere of "Supernatural"? Well, due to an epic fail by The CW, that's what I'm most looking forward to this week... again. Still.

Sunday, Feb. 6

Super Bowl XLV (FOX), 6 p.m. ET

Expensive ads, a halftime show starring the Black Eyed Peas, a special "Glee" afterward ... all the usual trappings of the most-watched program of the year. In between all that, though? A potentially very entertaining football game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. When they last played, in the 2009 regular season, Pittsburgh won 37-36 on the game's last play. We're hoping for a similarly suspenseful outcome this time.
