Is Al Roker the new Ryan Seacrest?

He has been forecasting the weather on NBC's "Today" show since 1996, and now Al Roker is adding another job to his already early morning. Beginning this summer, Roker will host his very own series, over on the Weather Channel, every weekday, from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., Eastern.

Roker's co-host on the new show, "Wake Up With Al," will be meteorologist Stephanie Abrams.

After filming "Wake Up With Al," Roker will dash over to "Today," just in case you still want to "wake up with Al," but not at 6 a.m.
