CNBC's Courtney Reagan gets on-air proposal during engagement rings report

courtney-reagan-cnbc-proposal-engagement-gi.jpgCNBC retail correspondent  Courtney Reagan was surprised with a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend, Jared Baker, Wednesday (Nov. 13) during a taping of "Nightly Business Report."

Anchor Tyler Mathisen dropped some major hints about "Jared" while leading Reagan's segment about the business of holiday engagement rings.

Of course, Regan thought Mathisen was talking about the jewelry retailer with the obnoxious "It can only be Jared" commercials that take over the airwaves during the holiday season.

While Courtney broke down the business of diamonds, her own Jared came out from behind the scenes and got down on one knee to propose. She screamed out yes, amid tears and sobs. According to Baker's proposal, the pair have been dating for seven years, he knew she was "the one" from the day he met her, and she has some pretty lame dance skills which he loves anyway.

Baker is reportedly a Goldman Sachs investment researcher. Congrats to the happy couple! Watch the touching proposal below:
