twd-s2-finale-group.jpgFans of zombie-pocalypse drama crowded into the massive Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) to get the first look at "The Walking Dead's" Season 3 trailer and find out firsthand when the show will return to AMC: Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m.

And U.S. fans won't be the only ones getting their zombie dose -- the episode will debut worldwide throughout the week, according to showrunner Glen Mazzara.

The clip debuted during a panel that brought stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Sarah Wayne Callies to Comic-Con, along with showrunners Mazzara, Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman.

Also on hand, executive producer Dave Alpert promised a faster pace in the new season with more zombies.

"Walkers will be decomposed and hungry and there will be a lot of them," said Alpert.

"The intensity level is incredible," added Hurd.

Stay tuned: We'll post the clip here if and when it's released online.
