Comic-Con 2013: 'Star Crossed' panel

"Star Crossed," a new CW series premiering this fall, had its first San Diego Comic-Con panel in 2013. What did stars Matt Lanter, Aimee Teegarden and more have to say about the sci-fi romance?

The panel, like many of those for new shows, began with an airing of the pilot episode. Following that, stars Lanter, Teegarden and Gray Damon, along with producers Josh Appelbaum, Adele Lim and Meredith Averill.
"I think you can expect a lot of awesomeness." - Matt Lanter

The beginning of the panel focused on the love stuff -- the triangle between Lanter, Teegarden and Damon but then quickly veered into talk of the more science-fiction elements of the show. As it turns out,  The CW wants more of the genre elements and not so much of the romance. Not that there won't be romance.

This is The CW, after all.

"Grayson definitely has a dark past. Like Batman." - Gray Damon on his character

Hints about what is to come include Lanter's character of Roman getting some funky alien powers and the story will darken. Information about the aliens' home planet will come soon too.
