'Community': Chevy Chase voice mail says 'I want people to laugh and this isn't funny'

Chevy Chase.jpgOh Chevy Chase. The TV-watching public begs to differ with your statement. A phone conversation between Chase who plays the doddering old Pierce in "Community" and creator Dan Harmon from over a year ago has surfaced and Chase isn't kind about the series.

"It ain't funny to me because I'm 67-years-old and I've been doing this a long time. I've been making a lot of people laugh -- a lot better than this," he says. Celebuzz, who published the audio says this might be the killing blow for the series and a fourth season.

"It's just a f****** mediocre sitcom! I want people to laugh and this isn't funny." Chase goes on to complain about the editing and what scenes of his have been cut. Check out the audio on the site. All the NSFW words have been bleeped. What we want to know is, has this soured you on the series? Please say no. Please continue to watch it live. There is a death before the end of the season. Maybe it's Pierce.
