Concert promoter suing rapper Gucci Mane for pulling off double-booked concerts -- report

Rapper Gucci Mane put his mind to pulling off two concerts in one night, and one concert promoter isn't impressed with the overachieving feat -- they're pissed.

The rapper performed two shows in one night -- in two different states, no less -- and the concert promoter of one of those shows is suing Mane for allegedly deceiving the company, TMZ reports.

The promoter, Empire Entertainment, filed a lawsuit against the rapper -- real name Radric Davis -- claiming that the company paid him $22,500 to perform in Little Rock, Arkansas on Nov. 22 but prior to the show, a nightclub in Tennessee advertised a Gucci Mane show for the same night which the rapper promoted on his Twitter.

Empire Entertainment says that Gucci Mane's reps assured the company that the second show wasn't happening but on the night of the concert, Empire says that it was obvious that the rapper's reps lied when he only performed three songs. Gucci Mane then left and traveled 138 miles to perform at the other club before driving back to stay in the hotel Empire provided.

The accusers are upset that Gucci's second show affected their ticket sales negatively and is suing for breach of contract and fraud. If Empire wins, it wants to make back all the cash it spent on his fees, hotel, travel, and promotions.
