Cuba Gooding Jr.: Arrest warrant nixed, says actor's rep

cuba-gooding-jr-arrest-warrant-gi.jpgLooks like Cuba Gooding Jr. is off the hook: TMZ reports the "Jerry Maguire" actor's arrest warrant was dismissed after he met with New Orleans police Wednesday (Aug. 1) morning.

Cops issued the warrant after Gooding allegedly shoved a female bartender early Tuesday at The Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street. The actor reportedly got upset when some other bar patrons recognized him and started taking photos. The bartender, who reportedly tried to tell Gooding to calm down, claims the actor pushed her twice before leaving.

Gooding's rep tells TMZ, "There is no warrant. Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding."

The actor is currently in New Orleans filming "The Butler," co-starring Oprah Winfrey and Lenny Kravitz
