'Dancing With the Stars' All-Star pairings announced

kirstie-alley-maksim-chmerkovskiy-dancing-with-the-stars.jpgThe all-star pairings have been announced for "Dancing With the Stars" Season 15, which is bringing back favorite contestants from seasons past. It appears that the show made an effort to pair celebrities with their partners from the first time around, when they could. Obviously, there are some professional dancer overlaps, plus some of the pros are no longer with the show.

The pairs are below, with stars next to the pairs who danced together previously (or the celeb's previous partner in parenthesis).

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy**
Pamela Anderson and Tristan McManus (Damian Whitewood)
Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower (Julianne Hough)
Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson**
Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough (Mark Ballas)
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya (Cheryl Burke)
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd (Cheryl Burke)
Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy (Alec Mazo)
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff (Julianne Hough)
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas**
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani**
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke**

The 13th dancer is currently being decided upon by America's vote -- it is between Sabrina Bryan, Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey. The voting ends Aug. 24 and the premiere of "Dancing With the Stars" All-Stars is Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
