'Dancing With the Stars': Bristol Palin slams back at judge's 'ghetto comment'
After the pair bent the rules in their cowboy quickstep Monday night (Oct. 1), Anaba complained, "You slammed us in the face, so we're slamming back."
"It was pretty ghetto," Bristol griped after Tuesday's (Oct. 2) results show, in which she and Ballas were declared safe despite receiving week two's lowest score. "I was just like, oooo-kay. You slam back, whatever."
Ballas, clearly irked, considers Inaba's comment childish. "I was like, dude, you're like a 40-year-old woman. Whatever."
"We should write our own rap song!" the pair then decided, with Ballas performing some spontaneous lyrics.
"Slam back, break your hold, slam back, country quickstep, slam back!"
(It's really quite catchy.)
When asked whether fans rallied to her support as a result of Inaba's "slam," Bristol said, "I don't [read fan comments] because people have such opinions on me. 'Oh, I hate you, I want you dead, I'm going to shoot my TV' or 'I love you guys.' I don't read any of it. I'm not very engulfed in it."
Instead, Bristol sees the "positive side" in the fans' voting. "We just got voted through even though we had the lowest scores. That speaks volumes [more than] anyone hiding behind a cell phone tweeting about us."
"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
