'Dancing With The Stars' Leah Remini Scientology deposition delayed
According to a new report, Leah Remini's deposition against the Church of Scientology is not happening any time soon.
The "Dancing With the Stars" contestant was supposed to give her deposition on Oct. 15, RadarOnline.com reports, but now it has been indefinitely postponed. The site claims Scientology lawyers stopped Remini from speaking as part of Monique Rathbun's lawsuit against the church.
"It was delayed by agreement to take her deposition at a later date," attorney Marc Wiegand, counsel for the plaintiff, tells Radar. "As of right now, the date is not set in stone."
He continues, "They have a lot of lawyers involved in this case, and we have been obliged to find mutually agreeable dates to do things. Setting the dates for depositions has been a matter of discussion."
