DC Comics' 'Batwing' #22 first look: Luke Fox rushes to save his dad in 5-page preview

After beginning life as part of the series "Batman Incorporated," Batwing was eventually spun off into his own series, protecting Tinasha, a fictional city in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently under the hero's mask is Luke Fox, son of Wayne Enterprises executive Lucius Fox. Fans of the "Dark Knight" movie trilogy may remember Morgan Freeman playing the role of Lucius.

In a preview of issue 22, Luke returns to Gotham City, realizing his actions in Africa have led to his dad being kidnapped. Batman assures him that he'll take care of the problem. However, once Luke realizes how important his dad is to the Bat, as Lucius is the man behind Batman's suits and tech, he suits up as Batwing to take matters into his own hands.

The issue is written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti, with art by Eduardo Pansica and Julio Ferreira. "Batwing" #22 is on sale July 3. Take a look at the cover and five-page preview below:
