Production chief Oren Aviv has been ousted by Walt Disney Studios chairman Rich Ross, according to an LA Times report.

This follows the resignation of studio chief Dick Cook in September 2009. Ross was named studio chair a month later and begin firing some of Cook's top execs. The paper says its likely he'll name a new production head and marketing chief soon.

The shakeups follow a shaky year of underperforming movies such as "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Old Dogs."

Aviv has been with the studio for 18 years and began as the president of marketing before moving to production. He was also one of Cook's allies.
