Donny Deutsch's 'big idea': Call newly engaged Jesse James 'a low life'

Advertising guy and former host of CNBC's "The Big Idea," Donny Deutsch may have just been trying to drum up some promotion for his call-in relationship advice special, "Love Calling," on Bravo Thursday (Jan. 27). Before it aired, he threw some jabs at Sandra Bullock's cheating ex, Jesse James, who's newly engaged to fellow bad girl of reality TV, "LA Ink" tattoo artist Kat Von D.

"[Jesse] is a low life, he's a dirt bag," Donny tells Access Hollywood Live. "This is the lowest form of life - it really is."

It's not as if we don't agree with the guy, but the timing of his statements right before his Bravo special aired was, well, fortunate. The twice-divorced Deutsch touts himself as the advice guru for women from the guys' point of view. And he had some thoughts for James' new fiancé.

"A lot of the calls I get are basically, 'I like bad boys - how do I change them?'" he says. "You don't! So what [Kat] is signing up for, she's going to get. And it that's what you want, great."

And women, he has a message for you, as well.

"If you don't want a bad boy, don't go after them and try to change them," he advises. "Look, [Kat's] a bad girl, so maybe it's a match made in heaven."

Donny Deutsch makes some sense, though. Right?
