'Downton Abbey' Season 3 casts two new maids

downton-abbey-maids.jpgIn addition to screen legend Shirley MacLaine, "Downton Abbey's" third season is also getting some fresh faces in the form of two new maids, according to Digital Spy.

Cara Theobald (pictured, left) has been cast as a new kitchen maid named Ivy and Lucille Sharp (right) has been cast as Miss Reid, a lady's maid to MacLaine's Martha Levinson, the American mother of Lady Cora. You can see Sharp in recent picture in U.K. newspaper The Sun of MacLaine filming a scene in a car - Sharp is riding in front, as what is fitting a maid.

Sharp was raised in Lexington, KY and went on to study at the Royal Scottish Academy for Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated last year.

As Zap2it previously reported, the house is also getting a new footman named Alfred, played by "War Horse" star Matt Milne.

"Downton Abbey" returns to U.S. TV screens in January 2013.
