James joined the popular U.K. drama as Lady Rose MacClare, great-niece to Lady Violet and a virtual hellcat on the 1920s London scene. She is returning for Season 4 of "Downton," living at the English estate while her parents travel to India.

The Disney "Cinderella" update is currently in pre-production, already having cast Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine (a.k.a. the Evil Stepmother). It is being directed by Kenneth Branagh, who has previously helmed five different Shakespeare adaptations and the 2011 Marvel movie "Thor."

What do you think, "Downton" fans? Does the glass slipper fit this casting choice? "Cinderella" is slated for a 2014 release.
