Dwayne Johnson reveals new 'Hercules' image, Kevin Sorbo confirms no cameo
Dwayne Johnson has released yet another look at his upcoming project, "Hercules: The Thracian Wars." This image offers up a better look at the costume The Rock will wear in the upcoming flick.
"Honor to work w/ HERCULES Cinematographer & multi Academy Award nominee Dante Spinotti. #MasterClass," Johnson tweets.
"Hercules: The Thracian Wars" is due in theaters on July 25, 2014. Directed by Brett Ratner, it also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes and John Hurt. Meanwhile another 3D "Hercules" movie is due out the same year.
Just don't expect to see any familiar faces from the "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" television show in either project. During an interview with Zap2it at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Sorbo lamented the fact that he couldn't score an appearance in either upcoming "Hercules" film.
"They didn't even put me in either of them. I mean, give me a break," he says. "My agent called up both of them, both productions, and said, 'You don't want him in for a cameo?' The show's still in 100 countries around the world, it was the most-watched show of the world in the '90s for crying out loud, Hollywood. ... Am I bitter? A little bit."
