'DWTS': Sherri Shepherd and Roshon Fegan land in Bottom 2 - Who went home?

sherri-shepherd-roshon-fegan-dwts.jpgThe "Dancing With the Stars" Week 4 results show proves that the celebrity contestants really are at the mercy of the American voting public -- how else can you explain the fact that Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower and Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy, two of rock week's highest-scoring pairs, land in the bottom two?

"All of us judges, we are in total shock," says Len Goodman when the duos in danger of going home are revealed (more than halfway through the hour). After all, Fegan and Hightower received the second-highest score of the week. If it were up to judges' votes alone, Fegan would've been relaxing with all of the safe couples instead of on the chopping block.

Much to their surprise, both Gavin Degraw and Gladys Knight, the two stars who have been in the bottom before, aren't at risk of elimination at all.

While Fegan and Shepherd handle the news that they're in danger well, when Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke ultimately announce that Sherri is heading home, the "View" co-host breaks down.

"Thank you for letting me live a dream that I've always had," she says sweetly while tears stream down her face. "That thing that scares you the most, that makes you say 'I don't know if I can do it, I'm scared' -- run towards it, because it's so amazing on the other side."

What a great message to go out on.
