Deadline reports that Dylan McDermott is joining the cast that already includes film sta r Jessica Lange, and "Friday Night Lights" actress Connie Britton.

The pilot script has been pretty hush hush and has apparently undergone recent rewrites.

What we do know is that McDermott plays Ben Harmon, a therapist and family man who has apparently done something wrong to his strong-willed wife (played by Britton). Lange plays their nosy neighbor and "True Blood's" Denis O'Hare is also attached to the project.

McDermott is best known for his role in the ABC legal drama, "The Practice." Since then, he has appeared in several films and was last seen as the lead in the TNT drama, "Dark Blue."
