Congratulations to Ellie Goulding: the British singer-songwriter scored her first U.K. No. 1 single on Sunday (Aug. 18) with her latest, "Burn."

The dance-floor-ready song sold 117,000 copies in the sales week to Saturday night, according to the Official Chart Company's latest data. Goulding's previous best rank (as a lead artist) was with the No. 2 peak of her Elton John cover "Your Song" back in 2010.

The new track will be featured on the upcoming deluxe release of her current "Halcyon" album (which has been out for 45 chart weeks so far).
