Emma Watson is reteaming with "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman for a project that is being described as a "female 'Game of Thrones.'" Warner Bros. picked up the rights to the upcoming Erika Johansen fantasy trilogy "The Queen of the Tearling," which is due to be released in 2014, and Watson and Heyman have jumped onboard.

Variety reports that Watson will executive produce and assumedly star in the movie. A director and writer have not been selected yet, but it's still exciting that Watson and Heyman are delving into the realm of fantasy book adaptations once again.

"The Queen of the Tearling" is set "three centuries after an environmental catastrophe when a malevolent Red Queen holds considerable power." It's reported that Johansen partly based the series' 19-year-old female character on a 2007 speech she heard Barack Obama give. Harper Collins will publish the "Queens of the Tearling" series.
