Emmys 2013: 'The Voice' wins Outstanding Competition Reality Show, upsets 'The Amazing Race' streak

mark-burnett-carson-daly-the-voice-emmys-2013-winner-gi.jpgSince its addition to the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2003, the award for Outstanding Reality Show - Competition has been taken home by CBS' "The Amazing Race" every year, save 2010 when "Top Chef" upset the streak. Well, the streak's been upset once again.

At the 2013 Emmy Awards on Sunday (Sept. 22), first-time nominee "The Voice," the only singing competition show nominated, took home the hardware and sent the perennial favorite home empty handed.

While it's always possible that "TAR" could come roaring back with a vengeance in 2014, might its reign as champion have finally come to an end? Time will tell.

Do you think "The Voice" deserved to win?
