'Enlisted' and 'Raising Hope' swap timeslots: Good news for the Hill brothers?

enlisted-timeslot-move.jpgFOX has made a small change to its Friday-night lineup, switching timeslots for its comedies "Raising Hope" and "Enlisted."

Starting Friday (Jan. 24), "Enlisted" will air at 9 p.m. ET, with "Hope" moving back a half-hour to 9:30. "Bones" stays put at 8 o'clock.

Moving "Enlisted" directly behind "Bones" could potentially help the well-reviewed comedy in the ratings -- and "Enlisted" could use whatever help is out there. Over its first two episodes "Enlisted" has averaged a very modest 0.7 rating among adults 18-49, along with about 2.2 million viewers, in the overnight ratings. (Three-day DVR ratings for the Jan. 10 premiere show its 18-49 rating nearly doubling from a 0.7 to a 1.3.)

It would also help if a few more "Bones" fans stick around. That show has survived the move to Fridays reasonably well, but "Raising Hope" has typically lost about half of the adult 18-49 audience of its lead-in and dropped off by more than that in total viewers.

Maybe since "Enlisted" star Geoff Stults is a member of the "Bones" extended family -- he starred in the short-lived spinoff "The Finder" -- that might entice a few viewers to give his new show a look?
