'Family Guy' meets 'The Simpsons' in fall 2014 crossover episode
When it comes to raunchy, "mature" animated shows, there are die-hard "Family Guy" fans, and there are die-hard "The Simpsons" fans. And it looks like those two factions need to start to learn to get along, because the Fox cartoons are joining forces.
In the fall of 2014, "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" will have a crossover episode, TVLine reports. In an episode of "Family Guy," the Griffins will pay a visit to Springfield, where they will be befriended by the Simspon family.
Even though Homer believes that Peter is albino, the two patriarchs become fast friends and drinking beer together in no time. Of course, that will lead to debates over whether Duff or Pawtucket is the better beer. Meanwhile, Stewie is charmed by Bart's old-school mischief; Lisa makes it her mission to find Meg's talent; and Marge and Lois become bosom buddies.
