Fight breaks out at Pittburgh 'Dark Knight Rises' screening

dark-knight-rises-security-gi.jpgMovie-goers at a Pittsburgh-area screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" on Sunday (July 22) fled the theater when a fight broke out. The incident came just two days after a gunman opened fire at a Colorado screening of the Batman film, killing 12 and injuring 58.

"There were two people who got into an argument, and one person yelled something that induced people to get into a panic," Colin Marks, who was in theater, tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The audience then fled for the emergency exits, with some people falling in the aisles -- in danger of being trampled by those behind them. Police at the scene conceded that if the Colorado tragedy wasn't so fresh in their minds, the panic probably would not have happened.

"After what happened, it makes it a little more frightening," said one moviegover. "It's always in the back of your mind."

Several theaters across the country have increased security since Friday's shootings.
