First Lady Michelle Obama does push-ups on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'
First Lady Michelle Obama stops by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday (Feb. 2). Host Ellen DeGeneres challenges her to a push-up contest (hee!) and then gives the Obamas matching "Ellen" warm-up suits.
Ellen asks if President Obama picks up his own socks:
Ellen: Does he (President Obama) pick up his socks? (Question sent in from a viewer via Facebook)
First Lady: Does he pick up his socks?
Ellen: That's the question.
First Lady: No, no, he doesn't pick up his socks.
Ellen: He doesn't pick up his socks?
First Lady: He thinks he's neat, but he has people who help him. I'm like it's not you that's neat. It's the people who pick up your socks. Those are the neat people.
Ellen: So he's not that kind of anal, neat...hang things in a certain order.
First Lady: No, he likes it neat.
Ellen: But he doesn't do it.
First Lady: No, when we're in Chicago his idea of putting his suit away was hanging it on the edge of the door. So we would have jackets on the edges of the door. It's like there's a hanger. But no, he doesn't get neat points.
Ellen: You can't do everything right. You have to have some flaws.
Ellen and the First Lady do push-ups....
Ellen: How many push-ups can you do? 'Cause I like to do a push-up.
First Lady: I don't know. I can do some. Can you?
Ellen: I can do some. I'm just wondering if you could do more push ups then I can do?
First Lady: It depends on how your back is. I know that you have these back issues.
Ellen: No, no (Ellen stands up and takes off her jacket)

Ellen: That was amazing...How many was that for her?
First Lady: I just stopped.
Ellen: And I thought it wouldn't be good to show off the First Lady so I stopped. Because I thought this looks bad that I'm going to beat her. I'm 54 and you're 48.
First Lady: It's true. There is an age difference.
Ellen: How amazing is that?
