FOX's 'Fringe' set to take seven week hiatus (Updated)

joshuajackson.jpgJoshua Jackson should have some extra time to enjoy the winter Olympics in his hometown of Vancouver early next year.

As first reported by futoncritic.com, sources confirm to Zap2it that FOX is putting " Fringe" -- which shoots in Vancouver and stars Jackson, John Noble and Anna Torv -- on a seven week hiatus.

The schedule has not yet been finalized but the network is expected to air its new midseason drama "Past Life" in "Fringe"'s Thursday timeslot starting Feb. 11.

"Fringe" would then return on Apr. 1 to finish out the second season with its seven remaining episodes.
