Fred Savage baby news begs the question: 'Where has Fred Savage been?'

fred-savage-gi.jpgMuch like his younger brother Ben Savage with the "Boy Meets World" sequel news, Fred Savage is back on the minds of pop culture fans, as he announces baby No. 3 with wife Jennifer Lynn Stone.

The child actor turned grown up director tweeted a photo of the precious newborn with tiny fingers and eyes still closed, writing simply, "He's here."

After the finale of the "Wonder Years" in 1993, Fred continued to act and also added director to this resume.

In 1997, Savage stopped down from pursuing his degree at Stanford University to star in the series "Working" for NBC. He provided the title voice for Nick Jr.'s "Oswald" from 2001 - 2003. In 2004, Fred reunited with his "Wonder Years" brother, Jason Hervey, to voice one half of a duo of bickering brothers for "Justice League."

Prior to that, he filmed a part for "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," but his performance did not make the final cut.

Over the past couple of years, Savage has appeared in some TV movies and voiced several parts for "Generation Rex," an animated series for Cartoon Network.

As a director, Savage has helmed several episodes of "2 Broke Girls," an episode of "Whitney," and a handful of episodes of various shows such as "Big Time Rush," "Happy Endings" and "Modern Family."

Savage has known his wife Jennifer since they were children. As the story goes, the pair were neighbors as kids, much like Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper. The couple has been married since 2004. They have a six-year-old son, Oliver, and a four-year-old daughter, Lily.
