From Justin Bieber's Facebook to The Killing: Rosie Larsen Case File: The Internet makes entertainment better

Pop sensation Justin Bieber is one of many artists and bands whose Facebook pages are taking advantage of the new Listen button, which gives fans an easy way to listen to music through their favorite playback services -- such as Spotify and MOG -- directly from Facebook pages. After the fan clicks on the button, the music service the person uses most frequently will begin playing the band or artist's most popular songs. As the services are also Timeline apps, the listening activity also posts to the Facebook Timeline as it happens.

The digital network, a property of Sony Pictures Entertainment, offers films and TV shows from the Sony library, along with original programming, from a base in Culver City, Calif. The 33rd Annual Telly Awards -- honoring film and video productions; Web ads, videos and films; and local, regional and cable TV ads and shows - recently honored Crackle's original comedy show "Issues" (starring Ron Livingston) with two Silver Awards and gave a Bronze Award each to the original shows " Held Up" and " Backwash."

After a cliffhanger finale in its first season, many fans and some critics were disappointed in AMC's Sunday mystery series and bailed on the Rosie Larsen murder case -- but not everybody. As the second season continues on AMC, the Web offers an interactive case file, complete with graphic images, that allows viewers to play armchair detective. And from the look of the comments, there are more than a few folks who are still interested in who killed the teen and are carrying on a lively discussion about possible perpetrators.
