Former "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin has announced she's tied the knot. The actress is married to singer and DJ Morty Coyle, with whom she has a daughter named Beatrix. The wedding was a private affair for the couple. In fact, it was so private that no one knew it happened a year ago.
Jodie and Morty celebrated their one-year anniversary on March 15, after getting married in 2012. "We had wanted to keep it quiet and intimate for a while," Sweetin tells People, "but felt that on our first wedding anniversary, it was time to share!"
The ceremony took place at the home of Coyle's songwriting partner Jordan Summers, who also officiated the wedding. Beatrix and Zoie, Sweetin's daughter from her first marriage, also particicated in the festivities.
After getting engaged in January 2011, Coyle says it was another wedding that made them finally decide to walk down the aisle. "We saw that Prop. 8 was going to court to argue its constitutionality (which we knew meant it would be justly repealed) at about the same time that we went to our friends Ryan and Graham LaConnor's beautiful wedding in Palm Springs," he says, "Seeing two people whose love was so pure and enriching to all those around them affected us so deeply that we both looked at each other and said, 'It's time.'"
Sweetin says the wedding was just a formality, adding, "We were absolutely committed before this, anyway. We're just so excited."
