Gabrielle Union hits 'FlashForward'

Gabrielleunion_cadillacrecords_290 ABC's new show "FlashForward" is adding another actor to its already sizable ensemble: Gabrielle Union.

Union, last seen on NBC's "Life" and the movie "Cadillac Records," will have a recurring part on the show as a character named Zoey, a defense lawyer who will also have a "romantic arc" on the show.

Her casting comes on the heels of the show confirming at Comic-Con that former "Lost" star Dominic Monaghan will be a regular. With Monaghan, "FlashForward" now has 10 regulars along with Union's recurring part.

"We're thrilled that Gabrielle is joining our cast," co-creator David S. Goyer says. "When we met with her, we immediately knew she was our Zoey. She's witty, soulful and beautiful. I've been wanting to work with her for a long time."

Union's other recent credits include "Meet Dave," "The Perfect Holiday" and a stint on "Ugly Betty." She also starred in The CW's pilot "Body Politic" in the spring.
