Zap2it can exclusively reveal that the next "Game of Thrones"-themed beer to come from Brewery Ommegang and HBO Global Licensing is going to be called Take the Black Stout.

Unlike the previously released Iron Throne blonde ale, Take the Black is a stout inspired by the Night's Watch. Take the Black Stout is 7 percent alcohol by volume, whereas Iron Throne was 6.5 percent. This beer will also be released in 750 mL bottles and sixth barrel kegs.

As can be seen in the photograph below, the label art on the bottle features the Weirwood trees considered sacred by the people of the North. The design was created for the bottle by a52, the same studio that designed the iconic opening credits sequence for "Game of Thrones."

Because Iron Throne was such a success, Brewery Ommegang promises to double the final volumes of Take the Black Stout. That means there will be more of the stout to go around when "Game of Thrones" returns for its fourth season in Spring 2014.

Take the Black Stout was brewed with star anise and licorice root. It is slated to appear in stores and bars nationwide in Fall 2013. More details regarding the beer will be revealed at a later date.
