Someone used to the deadly troubles of "Game of Thrones" can surely take on the legal shark-infested waters of "Suits," right? Michelle Fairley, best known for her role as Lady Catelyn Stark on the HBO series, will play a recurring role when "Suits" returns for Season 3.

Warning: There are necessarily a few big "Game of Thrones" spoilers in the article that follows.

Fairley will play the character of Ava Hessington on "Suits," according to casting news from EW.com. Hessington comes into the USA show's world when she hires Harvey Specter ( Gabriel Macht) to defend her in a lawsuit that might ruin her family's international oil business.

When Fairley joins "Suits" for the July 16 Season 3 premiere episode, she will actually be the second major "Game of Thrones" character to recur on the show. Conleth Hill -- the actor who plays spy-master and eunuch Lord Varys -- became a recurring character in Season 2. He plays Edward Darby, a British lawyer whose firm may merge with the show's central Pearson Hardman.

Thanks to the horrifying and tragic demise of Catelyn Stark (and a large portion of her family) at the end of the "Game of Thrones" episode, "The Rains of Castamere," Fairley is available for an indeterminate number of "Suits" episodes.
