Now, though, Dan Aykroyd tells the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex that a third "Ghostbusters" film is moving forward to potentially film later this year.

The entire original cast is apparently on board, which may have been helped by holdout Bill Murray's involvement in the upcoming "Ghostbusters" video game. That said, look for some new faces.

"I'd like it to be a passing-of-the-torch movie," Aykroyd tells Hero Complex. "Let's revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family but let's pass it on to a new generation."
