'Glee' co-creator plans new series, 'The Real World' heads back to Vegas

It was only a matter of time! "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy is officially working on a new series for FOX, and it seems almost guaranteed to go to pilot. Murphy's teaming up with fellow showrunner Howard Gordon ("24") on the high concept procedural that forces characters to face their worst fears and phobias -- including karaoke, we hope. [ Deadline]

This bodes well for debauchery... MTV is sending its latest crop of wide-eyed reality wannabes to Las Vegas for the 25th season of "The Real World." The seven strangers start filming in their new digs next week. [ Variety]

"Murphy Brown" is about to meet Gregory House, because Candice Bergen is checking into Princeton-Plainsboro -- as Cuddy's mom. The multi-episode "House" arc doesn't kick off until January, but feel free to get excited now. [ EW]

When "Psych" returns for the second half of Season 5, "American Beauty" star Mena Suvari will be along for the ride. She's booked a role as the only victim to escape the Yin serial killer. Ally Sheedy will return as Mr. Yang when the long-running arc reportedly comes to a close. [ Fancast]
