'Glee' premiere - Darren Criss and Lea Michele on Klaine fallout and Kurt's move
"It's tough for anybody when you're in a relationship with somebody that's founded upon being in the same place," he tells Zap2it at the "Glee" Season 4 premiere party. "Once that changes, it gets very difficult because the foundation on which your relationship is built is now shifted. It's tough for both parties; it's tough for Blaine."

On a more positive note, Criss says that "Kurt's absence makes Blaine a little more ambitious with his time and what he wants to do at McKinley. ... He does some interesting things, where he starts running for student body president, joins a bunch of clubs. He just goes a little power hungry. Blaine's a little more maniacal than he was the past couple of seasons. He used to be this charismatic guy, but now he's kind of gone off the deep end because Kurt's gone."
Even more positive is the fact that Kurt and Rachel together in the Big Apple is a match made in heaven. Michele tells Zap2it that the two roomies are getting along fantastically. "I love, love, love living with Kurt. I love our apartment. It's so cool. I love working with Chris, I wouldn't have it any other way. Now we just need to find a way to get Naya [Rivera] to come and live with us as well, and have Santana live in New York."

Back to the bad news: Tina ( Jenna Ushkowitz) also had a rough go in the premiere -- she and Mike Chang ( Harry Shum Jr.) broke up shortly before school started, and on top of it all, she wasn't even named the New Rachel.
"It's been a rocky start to senior year for her, but it's not bringing her down," Ushkowitz says. "She is still overconfident, ready to go. She is not kidding around this year."
Although Tina's taking the breakup well since it's not like she sees Mike every day, Ushkowitz says that when Chang returns in episode 5 -- "for a very good reason" -- they have a great conversation and "it definitely hits her a little harder than she thought it would."
