'Glee' star Lea Michele honored by Billboard as a 'triple threat'

lea-michele-peta-gi-450.jpg Lea Michele hasn't recorded her own album yet, but Billboard thinks she's worthy of recognition.

On Thursday (Dec. 2), the "Glee" star will receive the coveted "triple threat" award for her acting, singing and dancing on the FOX show that's made such an impact on the music industry, reports the AP.

"We worked so hard over here at 'Glee' and we put together these mini-movies every week that is filled with dancing and singing," says Michele. "It feels like such a nice sort of wonderful recognition."

Michele is already enjoying chart success as part of the "Glee" ensemble soundtracks, but she's not about to release her own solo album like Matthew Morrison or Mark Salling anytime soon.

"I really am taking my time with making an album," she says. "It will be somewhere in my future but right now we are so busy over here [shooting]."

We'd also like to add that Michele is quite the stylista and rocks the red carpet well for a newbie.
