'Glee' star Lea Michele is no diva, says Ryan Murphy

The blogosphere is buzzing  about 'Glee' star Lea Michele being totally typecast, that is, she really IS a major diva on set and off.

Lea began her career on Broadway in "Les Miserables" as a young girl before her breakout stage moment in "Spring Awakening" at age 20.

But The Dish Rag hears she's been a real piece of work for years. And it certainly hasn't improved with her new-found "Glee" fame. She's reportedly as high maintenance in real life as her character Rachel Berry is on the show.

However, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy defends his diva, er, star , er, cast member and says she's not all that at all.

"[The rumors are] not accurate and not true at all," Murphy tells People.  "Lea is the sweetest, most professional girl. She's incredibly kind and she's always on time and she's always with her cast hanging out. They're all close."
