'Glee's' Mark Salling brings back the mohawk at FOX's fall premieres party

Something's missing from the season premiere of "Glee." After making a huge deal about his mohawk's dermatology-demanded departure last season, Puck ( Mark Salling) has yet to regrow the trademark strip of hair. Maybe he's just prepping for a triumphant return a few episodes in.

It sure looks that way. At FOX's Fall Eco-Casino party, a network-wide launch party for the new season, Zap2it spotted Mark Salling sporting a short, albeit distinct, Puck mohawk. We sort of thought the 'do was dead in the water, given its early absence and the actor's open distaste, but fans will surely be pleased.

And Salling wasn't the only Gleek in attendance. Matthew Morrison and Jessalyn Gilsig put aside the problems that come with a fictional divorce to cozy up next to each other for photos before Morrison sat down at one of the party's many poker tables. (Hats off to anyone who could muster a bluff in the company of Mr. Schu.)

matthew-morrison-glee.jpgOther actors repping new and returning FOX series -- including "Bones," "House," "Fringe," "Lone Star" and "Raising Hope" -- were all on hand to celebrate the new season but there were no other earth-shattering hair developments to speak of.

So what do you think of Salling's mohawk: happy to see Puck rocking his old 'do or is it time for him to move on?
