Though "Modern Family" came out on top of the SAG Awards nominees, this year it was the dramas' turn to shine at the Golden Globes 2013. HBO movie "Game Change" and Showtime critical darling "Homeland" walked away with the most nominations, while the comedies on TV trailed behind.

There were a couple nice surprises in the nominations, like Louis C.K. getting a nod for "Louie" and both Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere being recognized for "Nashville." Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield each were nominated for acting Globes for "New Girl," and who can ignore the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch was recognized for his work in "Sherlock," giving us yet another excuse to obsess over him.
