Hangover cure approved by the FDA: Finally!

blowfish-for-hangovers.jpgWhen it comes to hangover cures, we've known people who swear by everything from a beer in the morning to a prickly pear smoothie. Now, the Food and Drug Administration has finally approved a hangover cure in tablet form.

"Blowfish for Hangovers" is offered in a dissolvable tablet (kind of like an Alka-seltzer) and meant to be taken the day after drinking.

"Out of personal experience, the worst hangover is the one you didn't expect on a morning you have to do stuff," creator Brenne Haysom tells ABC News. "It really came out of my own experience of wanting to go out but having to work really hard the next morning."

The two active ingredients  aren't exactly mind-blowing -- aspirin and caffeine -- but hey, we'll try anything. It's important to note that the product claims it "helps restore mental alertness or wakefulness when experiencing fatigue or drowsiness associated with a hangover" -- but doesn't say anything about pain, nausea, or tattoos you really regret getting.
