Happy Birthday, Megyn Kelly: The Fox News Channel anchor's most tenacious moments
In honor of "The Kelly File" host's 43rd birthday on Nov. 18, here are three of her most tenacious moments.
Kelly's most famous moment -- or at least her most badass one -- came during the 2012 presidential election. She informed Karl Rove that Fox analysts had called Ohio for President Obama, confirming his reelection, but Rove continued to protest. Instead of letting Rove continue to ignore the facts, she called him out, saying, "Is this just math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better, or is this real?"
2When several of Kelly's fellow conservative Fox News colleagues repeatedly mentioned the "dominant" role of men when discussing a study that concluded a record number of women are now their families' highest earners, Kelly called them out on-air. (Sense a pattern?) When they tried to defend their comments by saying they were based on "biology," she shut them down, saying there's a "list of studies saying your science is wrong and your facts are wrong."
Kelly's most recent verbal spar was with White House advisor Ezekiel Emanuel about the number of people whose health insurance policies are being canceled in the wake of Obamacare and whether the Obama administration knew the number of people who would become uninsured thanks to the new policy.
