'Hawaii Five-0': Alex O'Loughlin's rehab stint forces him out of 'NCIS:LA' crossover show

alex-oloughlin-nov-2011-gi.jpgThere's a bit of good news and a bit of bad news as it relates to Alex O'Loughlin's hiatus from "Hawaii Five-0." Let's start with the good news.

The actor, who left the show to check into rehab in March, will only miss one episode of the cop drama. TV Guide is reporting that O'Loughlin will be entirely absent from the April 30 program. This leads us to the bad news.

The April 30 episode is the big crossover show featuring Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J from "NCIS: Los Angeles." Considering this falls right in the middle of sweeps, the folks at CBS can't be pleased with the timing on that one.

The publication does say that O'Loughlin will be back for the May 7 show and then the May 14 season finale. The season-ending episode will also feature the return of Terry O'Quinn, Tom Sizemore and William Baldwin.
