Heidi Klum Halloween party canceled - Hurricane Sandy to blame

heidi-klum-halloween-cleopatra-twitter.jpg Heidi Klum's annual Halloween costume party has been canceled due to storm damage brought on by Hurricane Sandy. Scheduled to be held in New York City, the bash brings out celebrity masqueraders each year.

Heidi had this to say on her official Facebook page: "Friends, we hope you & your loved ones are safe after this devastating storm in the NYC area. For obvious reasons, we are canceling my Halloween party scheduled for tomorrow night. I hope to postpone for the near future... maybe a very Haunted Christmas? We hope everyone understands and stays safe..."

Klum recently posted a preview of this year's Cleopatra costume on Twitter. In case the party cancellation -- and, therefore, Heidi's absence from the parade of celebrity costume photos -- causes withdrawals this Halloween, take a look at past costumes from her annual bash, and choose your favorite.
