The cast and crew of "House of Lies" had to deal with real, gunfire shooting during production on Friday (Nov. 15). Reports indicate that there were no injuries or arrests.

TMZ.com reported that the Showtime comedy series was on location in Los Angeles' Nickerson Gardens housing project when the gunfire occurred. Filming of the scene attracted a public audience and it is believed that some of the onlookers were members of rival gangs.

At some point, those gang members started to fight. Gun shots were heard shortly afterward. Unfortunately, by the time the police arrived, the suspected shooters had left the area.

Although no one was injured in the incident, there may have been some rattled nerves. Actor Ben Schwartz tweeted a photo of two of his co-stars, Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, after the shooting. The caption read:

"Proof that we're safe"
