Howard Stern calls 'fat girl' Lena Dunham's 'Girls' sex scenes 'rape'

howard-stern-lena-dunham-little-fat-girl-gi.jpgApparently Howard Stern is a little desperate for attention these days, cracking lame jokes about "Girls" star Lena Dunham's physical appearance and the uncomfortable sex scenes on her critically acclaimed HBO comedy. But Dunham had the last laugh on "Late Show with David Letterman."

Stern went on a rant about Dunham's Emmy nominated series on his radio show this past Monday: "It's a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill and she keeps taking her clothes off and it kind of feels like rape. She seems, it's like, I don't want to see that. I learned that this little fat chick writes the show and directs the show and that makes sense to me because she's such a camera hog that the other characters barely are on."

Proving how disconnected he is from pop culture, Stern said he only recently learned about the show that was a media sensation early last year. His wife, Beth Ostrosky, introduced it to him.

"Good for her," Stern cracked at the end of his Dunham rant. "It's hard for little fat chicks to get anything going."

Dunham responded to the comments during a Letterman interview on Thursday night. She admitted she's a Stern fan and believes in his right to free speech. "[Stern] said, 'Congrats to her. It's so hard for little fat chicks to get anything going these days,'" Dunham told Letterman with a laugh. "It put me in the best mood! I just want to be like, my gravestone says, 'She was a little fat chick and she got it going."
