'Hunger Games' District 12 for sale for $1.4 million

hunger-games-effie-katniss.jpgWant a piece of "The Hunger Games" beyond the T-shirts and Katniss Everdeen Barbie dolls? Got $1.4 million to blow? That's the asking price for Henry River Mill Village, the North Carolina ghost town where the film's District 12 scenes were shot.

Current owner Wade Shepherd, 83, told the Associated Press, "I'm getting too many visitors. Day and night, they're driving through, taking pictures, getting out and walking. I'm just bombarded with people."

Only $1.4 million for 72 acres and a hefty piece of "The Hunger Games" memorabilia? Sounds like a steal.
