Deadline reports that "Vicious," which stars McKellen ("The Hobbit," "X-Men") and Derek Jacobi ("The King's Speech," "I, Claudius"), will come to PBS sometime next year. The two veteran actors play a long-time couple who have shared a London flat for close to 50 years and have a love-hate relationship.

The show aired on ITV in the U.K. in the spring and drew solid ratings; a second series is on tap for next year. Gary Janetti ("Will & Grace," "Family Guy") created the show.

There's no word yet on an airdate on PBS.
